This week we have been focusing on Italian artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo, specifically his portraits using fruit and vegetables.

This week in English we have been looking at poetry. We have been reading this poem by Judith Nichols.
We have used our senses to help us come up with our own sound words and poems.

In our first week back at school we have been exploring our new topic. We have made fruits and vegetables out of play-dough, had fun creating our own restaurant role-play area and even begun to write our own menus.
We have also thought about our favourite meals and created collages of them using art resources.
